Research was carried out to underpin and guide the development of the Impact for Access project, in addition to providing an evidence base for the success of the project.

The research, titled ‘So, you want to be in the professions?’, aimed to assess the extent to which targeted initiatives increase diversity in applications to “gendered subjects” in higher education institutions, specifically for those accessing higher education from a widening access background.
